• Zagreb Fair - EKO-ETNO Hrvatska . DESA takes active part in organization of Dubrovnik-neretva county presentation. DESA organizes workshops of: silk production, embroidery (from Konavle and Mljet) and weaving. On this occasion, the members of DESA-Slano presented the renewed national costume from Dubrovacko primorje. From the organizer of EKO ETNO Hrvatska DESA received a letter of acknowledgement.

• DESA's Patchwork Club exhibits its decorative works in patchwork technique: bedspreads, covers and decorative items in Ranjina Pallace, Old City, from 20 - 24 June, 2002.
• DESA sudjeluje na Meðunarodnoj radionici sa izlozbama "Stara umijeæa izrade i kreacije tekstilnih proizvoda - Nasi korjeni" koja se odrzala u Muzeju Sarajeva 18. - 20. 10 2002. godine

• DESA presents her activities through the northern France on invitation of a French association, one of our main supporters - CCFD - Paris (Comite Catholique contre la Faim et pour le Developpement)

• Strassbourg, France ~ DESA presents its activities and exhibits its crafts in the Council of Europe Headquarters on invitation of its president - Mrs Leni Fischer, during the autumn session of the European Parliament

• Zagreb ~ DESA organizes exhibition "Restoration of Folk Costumes of the Island of Mljet" in cooperation with People's University of Dubrava, Center for Fostering and Development of Croatian Folk Traditions, Folklore Activity of the City of Zagreb and the Ministry for Reconstruction and Development
