Communication for healthy community", Dubrovnik , February 2002

Through this 5-day workshop DESA hosted 25 participants from various local NGOs, as well as representatives of organizations and institutions involved in social care and other public services (health care, municipal services, unemployment). The exceptional outcome of this activity can be described in terms of building  of the models for communication and co-operation  between representatives of civil society and state institutions, as well as in working on  public health and social stability issues in the post-war environment. Involvement of local authorities in this process, as a sign for future partnership, was one of DESA's greatest achievements. Held in co-operation with «Ecumenical Peace Initiative» from Zagreb and  «Ecumenical Women's Solidarity Fund» fom Omis.
